New Water Restrictions

County Commissioner

Emerald Forest resides in an area that is presently under water restrictions, controlled by the St. Johns River Water Management District.  Landscape irrigation is restricted, regardless of whether you get your water from the city, a well, the lake, or pond.  The rules are as follows:

o       Odd numbered addresses can water Wednesday and Saturday during Daylight Savings Time, and Saturday only during Standard Time.

o       Even numbered addresses can water Thursday and Sunday during Daylight Savings Time, and Sunday only during Standard Time.

o       No one can water from 10:00am thru 4:00pm any day.

Penalties up to $500 per violation may apply if you don't follow these restrictions.  Remember, these are for the benefit of everyone.

The hotline number for more information is 800-232-0904.

I See a Gator
