Buena Vista Woods Bulletin Board
Instruction Page
What is the Buena Vista Woods Bulletin Board
| It is a service brought to you by the joint efforts of
the Emerald Forest and Diamond Cove Homeowners Associations and the
Emerald Forest webmaster. The
purpose is to provide a forum for you to place a personal ad similar to
a classified in the newspaper. The difference is this is limited
to Emerald Forest and Diamond Cove residents only. What is it NOT is
a place to post comments, complaints, or opinions, slanderous
or otherwise, nor anything that could be considered illegal or offensive to
any person, place, business, or group, or deemed inappropriate by the
Emerald Forest webmaster. Should you enter into any prohibited
actions, the Emerald Forest webmaster, under the jurisdiction of the
Emerald Forest, Diamond Cove, and Buena Vista Woods Homeowners Board, has the right to deny access to any
individual homeowner based on their unapproved use of
the Bulletin Board. You are required to read and agree to the
Terms of the Buena Vista Woods Bulletin Board in order to participate in
its use.
You will find 4 categories: For Sale, Items Wanted, Babysitters/Petsitters, and Miscellaneous. The For Sale category can be used to sell anything from a fish tank to a car. In the same way, use the Items Wanted choice when you are in search of an item. Use the category of Babysitters/Petsitters whether you are offering the service or in need of the service. To make your intent clear, you may want to start your ad with BABYSITTER WANTED, or BABYSITTER SERVICES OFFERED. The Miscellaneous category can be used for anything that doesn't fit in the first 3. Examples would be looking for a 4th for your foursome, or recommending your lawn service or housekeeper because of their expert service. Remember, when placing an ad, be sure to include some way to be contacted such as your phone number, address, or email. Otherwise how will someone get a hold of you? When your ad is no longer relevant, as after you have sold an item, be sure to delete your ad. Also note, homeowners place the ads, and homeowners remove their own ads. Accordingly, there are Terms of Use that are associated with this service that you must accept in order to utilize this portion of the website. This service is also used to view the Neighborhood Directory and Neighborhood Watch Block Captains. In order to view this information you have to share your information. Finally, this service will allow voting to take place. As the need arises to have the community vote on a non-binding issue, you will need to be a registered user in order to cast your vote. Welcome to the Buena Vista Woods Bulletin Board! |
